Canongate Tollbooth

The Museum of Edinburgh is a museum in Edinburgh, Scotland, depicting the town's origins, history and legends. Situated in the late 16th-century Huntly House on the Royal Mile, it is maintained by Edinburgh City Council.

The colour reproductions are from the original Photochroms. Photochrom was a technique developed in Switzerland in the 19th century for colouring black and white photographs using up to fourteen lithograph stones.
